Mechanical Estimator

The successful Mechanical Estimator will play a vital role within the commercial department producing accurate Mechanical & Electrical quotations. Office is located in Bristol however the role will require some travel throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas to meet perspective clients. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to client meetings. Client Details Our Client is a Bristol based Mechanical & Electrical business working in the residential and commercial sectors. Description The Mechanical Estimator will be expected to build and submit accurate pricing quotations to Mechanical Consultants, as well as Main Building Contractors. Day to day duties will be: Commercial pricing of all Mechanical Tenders Accurate quotations for each work application Technical submittals for clients upon request Visit prospective/existing clients to provide technical information on the Company's products and Services. Profile The Mechanical Estimator will have a proven track record in the building and Construction industry. You will have: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to visualise schemes and understand components Diligent, Self-disciplined and well organised Ability to see commercial advantages when producing quotations A desire and expectation to work hard Problem solving and accurate time management Produce clear solutions to client challenges Proactive, confident and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team Job Offer Package up to £50,000 based on experience A vehicle will be available for work purposes only 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Company Mobile & Company laptop Good level of progression available for the right person Fantastic working environment Parking available
