An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join their highly successful and expanding team, working on large long term residential and commercial projects throughout Shropshire. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a challenging career, to play a vital part in securing new build and refurbishment Construction projects. Qualifications: The successful candidate will preferably have a bachelor's degree in Construction and will also have gained experience in a similar role within the industry. The Benefits * A competitive salary * Support and training from a friendly team * Career progression and development * Free onsite parking * Generous holiday allowance and other benefits The Role * Estimating and preparing the schedule of works * Putting together bids to win new business * Preparation of contracts for Clients and Subcontractors * Negotiating contracts * Cost analysis and forecasting * Reviewing, developing, and managing daily operational flow * Management/mentoring/coaching junior staff * Occasional site visits and presale meetings with clients * Strategic planning and forecasting * Improving current operational process flow * Risk assessments * Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties. Your Profile * Good IT knowledge (experience with Causeway estimating preferable) * A good track record with the Construction industry * An analytical thinker who possess strong technical skills. * Strong commercial awareness with negotiation being a key skill * Exemplary communication skills * High attention to detail with a complex understanding of the Construction process * Strong contractual knowledge
