Site Supervisor

We are actively seeking a Professional site supervisor that has had previous experience within a medical facility. The position is to refurbish and upgrade a ward facility within a major hospital We are looking for a Site supervisor that has had previous experience within:- * Install medical gases * Install new underground drainage * Demolition of small walls * Building of stud partitions * Modification to existing suspended ceiling * Install new electrical circuits * Modifications to existing plumbing * Modifications to nurse call system This role requires a Site supervisor with previous hospital refurbishment experience, a track record of successful site management of projects between £400k - £1m with excellent communication skills, this role is for this dedicated project and will require a passionate candidate who is willing to work the days needed to complete the project on time. Hospital Ward Refurbishment - Contractual vacancy Role and Responsibilities•ensure all health and safety documentation is in place and adhered to on-site correctly•induct all operatives and visitors to the site•inform client of required service isolations a minimum of 48 hours in advance•upon identification of any issues or potential issues they are to be brought to the attention of the contract manager and assist with reaching a resolution before leaving site•provide guidance to operatives with the support of the contract manager•monitor drawings on site are correct revision and are being used at all times•overlay drawings to pre-empt any clashes of services•carry out in-progress and post inspections on all aspects of work•recording of inspections to be carried out and submitted to contract manager daily Qualifications and Education Requirements Suitable site management qualifications SSSTS Asbestos Awareness Preferred Skills Knowledge of fire protection works and processes Additional Notes A strong Foreman with experience of healthcare refurbishment will suit this role
