Job Description
My client is a national Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy that has been established for over 20 years, who pride themselves on delivering a personal and reactive service to their clients. They have created a good working environment that puts the staff first. They now require a Structural Design Engineer with 2/3 years post Graduate experience to join them.
Important - Must have a strong written and verbal communication skills, plus a good technical knowledge of Structural Engineering and the design process in construction.
This Structural Design Engineer will require you to have good communication and interpersonal skills, being able to build relationships with both colleagues and clients. You will also need to be driven to progress and keen to work towards becoming a Chartered engineer.
As the Structural Design Engineer you will help provide a full engineering service and project support for varied project workload, ensuring all designs adhere to the latest codes of practice, UK regulations and Company policies.
Being the Structural Design Engineer will need to be able to work closely with clients, architects and other members of the professional team you will take an active role in establishing the brief of projects.
The need is for a Structural Design Engineer who is an enthusiastic self-motivated person that can work on own initiative and seek assistance when required, organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met and project professional image to clients and colleagues.
For this role of Structural Design Engineer you will need to manage your own time with regard to the client's duties, where punctual project delivery is essential, for which you will be offered good salary and package.
