Substation Fitter - Immediate Start The Client My client is a global powerhouse in industry, energy, healthcare and infrastructure solutions. The client is a key figure in the UK power transmission and distribution market. The Role This impressive client has a requirement for a Substation Fitter to assist on the dismantling of a super transformer, packing the components and then removal of the TX by heavy lift transport. The position is due to start on Monday 17th August 2020 and will run for approximately 5 weeks, however, this client is extremely busy and if you are open to working in other locations additional projects might be offered to you. This is a fast-paced project and there will be additional hours available plus weekends. Requirements National Grid authorisations and experience are absolute pre-requisites for this role, the successful Substation Fitter must hold BESC & Person and have relevant experience on National Grid projects. Holding a telehandler ticket would also be a distinct advantage. * BESC & Persons * Telehandler (desirable) * Safety Passport * MEWP Package * £22.50 per hour for first 37.5 hours * £23.50 per hour after 37.5 hours * £23.50per hour for first 4 hours on a Saturday * £26.00 per hour after 4 hours on a Saturday * £26.00 per hour all day Sunday * 5-week contract * Starts Monday 17th August 2020 Process Please submit your CV or call Rachel Skelton directly on (phone number removed)
