Handyman

My client is a large company based in Witham. They are currently looking to recruit a handyman to provide general maintenance to their site for an initial period of 3 months but it could become a permanent position at the end of that period. The role: The handyman will be responsible for general maintenance around the site to buildings and equipment but will include: • Ensuring site is maintained to high standards • Working on planned and reactive maintenance works • Carrying out general building repairs • Fixing basic plumbing leaks • Carrying out basic electrical works • Carrying out basic carpentry repairs • Fixing doors and locks • Painting and minor decorating The Key Requirements: • Experience in a handyman/property maintenance role • Welding experience would be useful • A hands-on practical approach • Very strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Be able to lift and carry items • Driving licence They offer: • An immediate start • A minimum of 3 months’ continuous work • The opportunity of a permanent position • A chance to be part of a successful, growing company To apply for this handyman vacancy online, please click on the ‘Apply’ button below.
