Regeneration and Development Manager required for a fantastic contract based in Woolwich

The Role
Delivering a number of high profile regeneration programmes including estate renewal, public sector investment programmes, major Council infrastructure projects and the development of active and prosperous town centres.
This post has the key role in ensuring delivery of this agenda in a timely and expeditious manner.
The Regeneration and Development Technical Manager is required to: To provide the Council with technical advice in respect of development, planning and property matters including land assembly and landlord and tenant and to ensure the effective delivery of a number of regeneration projects and programmes.
To lead on the delivery of a number of key development projects and programme including the regeneration at Kidbrooke Village. Commission and manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation. Lead and be responsible for the implementation of projects, programme and initiatives across the borough in line with the Council's plans, strategies and priorities.
Manage up 20-30 indirectly managed consultancy/contracting staff.
The Requirements
Extensive knowledge of property, planning and development matters
Proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of partners/stakeholders and with Council Members and initiating, developing, negotiating and managing complex regeneration schemes
Proven ability to understand complex issues and provide timelines, reports outlining the issues involved and making recommendations
Strong analytical, communication skills.
Educated to degree level or equivalent or holds professional qualification in an appropriate field.
