Street Lighting Officer required for a fantastic contract based in Normanton Local Authority Work 24 Hours Per week The Role The candidate will acting as the main point of contact between the Council and the PFI contractor for the delivery of the Councils Street Lighting LED conversion project. Establishing procedures and processes as required by the contract documents and raising issues with the contractor as they are identified are central to the role. The candidate will ensure that street lighting best practice is considered in discussions with the contractor, public, officers and elected members. The key purpose of this post is to support the Performance and Development Team Leader monitoring the Street Lighting PFI contract, ensuring good practice in street lighting is followed, ensuring compliance with the temporary diversion signs policy and progressing the Roundabout Sponsorship scheme. The Requirements Local Authority Experience is highly beneficial Previous Street Lighting PFI knowledge and experience is preferred.
