Remote Control Crane Operator

We are recruiting for an experienced Remote Control Crane Operator to join our team in a contract role (leading to permanent). Working Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30. Duties & Responsibilities * Operate travelling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and materials * Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions * Maintains crane and hoisting mechanism * Inspect crane for defective parts and notify supervisor of any defects or malfunctions * Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times Qualifications/Training * Must have relevant qualification and tickets for this role. Experience * Knowledge of warehouse construction practices, lifting and equipment * Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories * Understanding of Warehouse Health and Safety procedures Benefits of working for Inplace Personnel: * 24/7 contact with consultants * Online and Email payslips * Pension Contributions
