Wood Machinist

My client is currently looking for an experienced Wood Machinist, who is used to working towards tight deadlines in order to get projects completed. The core hours of the specific role will be 8am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break, but can be expected to work 8am to 6pm in busy periods and Saturday mornings either 8am to 12pm or 6am to 10am. The pay rate our client is offering is a well paid £10 to £12 per hour dependent on experience with an overtime payment of your hourly rate plus an extra £1 per hour. Job requirements: - At least 3 years' experience in all aspects of bespoke joinery. - Knowledge of both setting up and running all wood working machinery. - Able to meet targets in a fast paced production environment. - CNC experience is advantageous. - Experience dealing with quality control is essential. - Good knowledge of H&S requirements for timber machining. - Previous experience of completing minor machine repairs advantageous.
