Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Position Overview: The purpose of the role is to support the Engineering Team Leader in delivering a Planned Preventive Maintenance system and be able to respond to reactive works to meet client demands. A flexible work approach will be required as the position requires you to work with in an established team to assist with other engineering duties. This role will be based at a newly refurbished distribution centre, working for a large blue-chip online retailer. Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities: Support the development of a truly business focussed maintenance environment based on a sound knowledge of building services plant and equipment. Ensure all maintenance techniques are relevant to business focused maintenance, best practice and statutory requirements. Identify continuous improvement projects. Undertake maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections in conjunction with the maintenance team. Report upon poor performing assets and present engineering solutions. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety processes. Maintain and review all stock levels. Assist with maintaining legislative documentation. Assist the engineering team leader in carrying out Health and Safety inspections What we are looking for: Demonstrable experience of innovation and maintenance best practice. Recognised apprenticeship Electrical engineering. Health and Safety qualifications e.g. IOSH desirable. Have experience of working within a team. Good communication skills. Customer focused client facing. Good IT skills.
