Quantity Surveyor

Our client, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on a temporary to permanent basis. The position is due to start towards the end of the month on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. The ideal candidate will have a HNC qualification and minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible. Duties will include (but not limited to): * Working on small to large scale refurbishment projects within the Social Housing Sector of up to half a million in value * Majority of projects will include kitchen and bathroom refurbs, wet room and hand rail fittings and some school refurbs * Compiling Bills of Quantities for live projects, working with the delivery team and assisting in ordering and managing materials on site * Pricing up and invoicing new works * Carrying out site inspections during progress of work * Signing off variations and completing final re-measures * Assisting Management in identifying new revenue streams to tap into Experience required: HNC qualified or equivalent degree Minimum two years’ experience within the sector Preferably experience on the contractor side Social Housing experience desirable Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30 but flexible Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
