Construction Manager

Position: Construction Manager reporting into a PD Job Summary: Experienced No.2 required for a high end residential scheme Salary & Location: Circa £85,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus based in West London Company:Arguably the biggest and most successful residential developer in the South East of England specialising is high specification projects. This particular part of the company focus on high end, mixed use projects across London where they have won numerous Health and Safety and NHBC awards. With the success of purchasing additional land, they are looking to strengthen their already successful team. The Role: Reporting directly into the Project Director, you will take full responsibility of heading up a 218 unit phase with a build cost of £80m while managing a team of 15 production staff. You will also be responsible for: Ensuring a sequence of work is maintained, management of logistical issues, reduce the risk of fire and reduce time lost to multiple movement of materials, prime responsibility for the safety of all section operations, review and adjudicate all method statements and risk assessments and monitor health & safety documentation and complete safety inspections. The Candidate: You will have experience working on a similar sized project with either a developer or main contractor. You will also have experience overseeing a project from groundwork stage through to handovers while ideally coming from an academic background (Degree, HNC/HND equivalent) UK experience is essential.
