Job Description
COVID Marshall / Site Administrator required for an immediate start!
The Project
The UK’s largest infrastructure project undoubtedly throws up some major ecological challenges which must be mitigated to ensure the successful delivery of HS2. This can range from river restorations, river re-alignments, floodplain reconnections, habitat creation and fish passes.
My client is a rapidly expanding environmental construction company with a vast amount of experience in all aspects of environmental consulting and management works. This client has a large amount of work with HS2 to help them successfully manage the environmental impact of the project.
The Role – COVID Marshall Site Administrator
As Site Administrator you will be joining a large project team and will be offering admin support across the team covering a variety of different duties. Based out of the Site offices near Leamington Spa you will be responsible for general administrations, management of cost allocation sheets and keeping the skills matrix updated regularly. You will also be responsible for greeting visitors to site, carrying out a simple visitors induction giving a safety brief, and also completing the necessary documentation for individuals coming onto site, issuing a visitors pass and ensuring that the visitor is introduced to their host on site.
This role would suit an experienced office or site administrator who has experience working in the construction industry and has a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate would have construction site administration experience; however, this is not essential.
In addition to the above this site administrator will be instrumental in helping manage the risk of COVID-19 on the project. The first part of the day will be manning the Temperature Scanner and accurately recording the data. You will also be required to approach people who may not be adhering to COVID procedures to remind them politely but firmly of the requirements. This site administrator must therefore be confident enough to do this.
As temperature checks are performed daily on the project this role will require an early start and the successful individual will be required on site from 06:30am, this might change during the winter months when it is darker and site hours might be reduced due to this.
Initially the role will be for 8 hours per day, however, workload on this contractor is set to increase and as such the hours might increase to 9.5 hours per day.
