Quantity Surveyor

Our Main Contractor client is looking to employ an experienced Quantity Surveyor with New Build Social Housing experience to work on projects throughout the West Yorkshire region who is ideally available to join the business in October to start a new project in November. You will be responsible for the complete financial running of to 1 to 2 projects on a daily basis including measures and re-measures, subcontract valuations, payment applications, verification of BOQ's, call offs and Final Accounts. Based both at the Head Office and at site, the ideal candidate with have 5 years + commercial experience as the sole QS for new build Social Housing projects with a value of £5M - £8M and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work autonimously on multiple projects with the support of the Commercial Director. General commercial build experience would be an advantage but not essential.
