Design Manager - Roofing/Cladding

My client who are a specialist roofing & cladding Contractor are specialists in fully supported hard metal roofing, facades and cladding systems for all types of projects. They are seeking to employ professionals within this specialised industry, to carry out duties on a varying size of projects. Duties * Prepare design delivery programmes * Design development in association with experienced management and Estimators * Ensure full compliance of design with NHBC CWCT etc * Lead our internal design team * Control additional out of house designers as required on a contract basis * Monitor both internal and external design resource for accuracy, quality and regulatory compliance. * Subletting design work to exterior resources as required * Attend client-based meetings to ensure clear communications through the design period * Prepare procurement plans tied to site programmes to ensure a flow of materials to site as required * All aspects of HR for in house designers * Ensure free flow of information and provide technical backup to designer * Deal with all technical reports from cladding consultants
