Estimator Southampton Salary up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + 24 Days Holiday Blaymires recruitment is working with a refurbishment contractor based in Southampton who is searching for an Estimator. The company undertakes a diverse range of building refurbishment projects for both public and private sectors with projects ranging up to the value of £3 million. Due to an increased level of tenders and with plans to steadily grow the business they require either an Estimator or Estimator / Surveyor who can estimate projects using first principles. Job Role: * Price projects from bill of quantities, specifications and drawings. * Carry out detailed take offs from drawings. * Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to provide the most competitive cost on a project. * Carry out any general admin & filing as required with position. * Attend internal meetings with the Managing Director and Estimating Manager to discuss tenders. Experience: * Experience in the refurbishment sector. * Have computer estimating package experience. * Proven track record. * Accuracy in your approach is an absolute necessity. * Must be self-motivated and a strong desire to perform and deliver quality tenders. Interview The company is looking to interview potential Estimators over the next few weeks, and this will be a 2-stage interview process.
