Job Description

My client are a specialist manufacturer and seller of fabricated Aluminium and glass doors to private and commercial products, they are looking for a Production Manager to lead a team of 12 production people and manage production of £400k worth of products every week. The role of the Production Manager will involve: * Reporting in to the MD of the business. * Managing the production schedulers and team to produce £400k worth of fabricated Aluminium and windows per week. * Ensuring products are completed correctly to measurements * Ensuring they have low wastage * Managing a team of 12 people * Working with commercial team to buy raw materials * Managing all health and safety across the site * Full management of production process. * Planning, scheduling, programming of works. ·Ensuring production is completed on time and to quality standard * Suggesting and implementing process improvements. The ideal Production Manager will * Have previous experience as a production manager for a fabricated Aluminium company however this isn’t essential, if you come from a joinery fabrication or an engineering products background this could work. * Experience of managing full production teams * Experience of managing operation of £400k plus per week. * Be technically minded * Have a positive Management approach. * Be commutable to Huddersfield The benefits of the Production Manager role Up to 40k plus Bonus Pension Hours of work 7:30 – 16:30 with some Saturday mornings This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager, for more information please contact Chris Mitchell
