Associate Building Surveyor

Calibre Search have been retained to seek out a Building Surveyor who is either at Senior level looking to progress or an Associate who is feeling stagnated in their current role and is wanting a new challenge. This role is with a rapidly growing consultancy who have a national presence in the market and due to the sheer demand, they now require their next strategic hire in their Central London Office. You will be part of a small but growing team for which the possibilities of career growth are very likely and also joining a consultancy who pride themselves on helping their staff achieve their career goals with them. You will be reporting directly to the Divisional Director of their London branch offering a whole mixture of services in contract administration all the way through to core building surveying work. Project experience within healthcare or education would be advantageous with this role but not essential. The practice like people who are clear team players and with this London team looking to expand again in the near future, experience or the willingness to manage junior staff would certainly be welcomed. Relevant Experience: Relevant degree qualified (Building Surveying/Construction Management) Proven track record as a Building Surveyor (ideally within a consultancy/client-side environment) MRICS/MCIOB Qualifications would be desired or at least working towards such qualifications Knowledge and experience working through RIBA Stages Responsible for managing and delivering your own projects on time and within budget Pre and post contract experience Experience in commercial surveying experience - Pre Acquisition surveys/Dilapidations/Party Wall Disputes/Landlord & Tenant services Dealing with Tenders, negotiating with contractors, procurement knowledge etc Comfortable in Client facing role and developing Client Business relationships To discuss all my relevant roles in complete confidence please call Rob Haycastle at Calibre Search Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
