Yard Foreman - Multiskilled

The Role:

We are looking for a hands on, experienced Foreman to join our team in Avonmouth, near Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and supervising the modification and maintenance of our fleet of buildings while ensuring the safety of our team.

Key tasks include:

• Planning workloads
• Ordering and control of materials
• Assessing and planning works on buildings
• Managing quality output of the team
• Co-ordinating contractors
• Ensuring all on site work safely
• Working proactively with the Operations team to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
• Completing maintenance and repairs on customer sites

What are we looking for?

The candidate must:

• Have experience of leading a team
• Have a multi-skilled trades background - Joinery background preferred

• Have a SSSTS or IOSH safety qualification
• Be an CSCS card holder
• Hold a UK Driving licence
• Be able to communicate with colleagues, contractors and suppliers to a high standard
• Be reliable, and pay close attention to detail and deadlines.

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working in the modular and portable buildings sector
• Fork Lift Truck Licence Holder
