Head of Operations and Transformation

HEAD OF OPERATIONS AND BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION HOME BASED WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVEL ACROSS UK UP TO £75,000 PLUS CAR ALLOWANCE AND FLEXIBLE BENEFITS If you have a track record of creating and implementing business change transformation projects and aligning these with the operations strategy and long-term business plans – then this Head of Operations and Business Transformation job could be a challenging and rewarding next step. This role has been created to help the business transform and grow more cost effectively and safely. RESPONSIBILITIES The Head of Operations and Business Transformation will work closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Sales and Commercial teams to promote collaboration and: Lead and drive cost management, quality and efficiency across sites and depots Ensure strict health and safety standards are complied with, in both manufacturing sites and depots Provide support and guidance to operations and service departments Manage operational impact and mitigate operational risks Review capital expenditure and make recommendations REQUIREMENTS You may be a Project Manager or Operations Manager, working within a manufacturing or production company, with a track record of leading and guiding the business, to make the correct decisions to continually improve business processes and grow the organisation. Extensive experience of project management, ensuring business improvement projects are delivered on time and within budget, that continue to transform and assist business Control and reduction of costs, coupled with margin improvement experience Six Sigma black belt would be advantageous Experience of leading several project teams simultaneously, across different locations Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to develop solutions that improve the business Ability to give examples of how business change transformation projects have been designed and implemented successfully ABOUT THE COMPANY Global market leader, committed to training and developing their staff
