Designer(facade)

The Client: specialist envelope sub-contractor that has been established for over a 2 decades, building a wide range of award-winning envelope packages. Schuco approvaed contractor. The Role: Seeking an experienced Design Manager, preferably with experience in Curtain Walling and Cladding systems including mult-storey schemes. About the Responsibilities: Working on individual projects. Managing external Designers. Managing the workflow and assigning work to Designers. Supporting, understanding, and advising the client as to their requirements and obligations. Liaising with the project and estimating team. Assisting with procurement and programming Outlining project specifications against cost plans Arranging and attending required design meetings Sign off of all drawing details Issuing of all official documentation to clients.About the Requirements: Experience of Rainscreen Cladding, Facades, Curtain Wall & Glazing systems. Will have prior experience in a Design Management or Senior Technical Coordination role. A thorough understanding of all regulations, and guidance documents. Experience of working for a facade contractor
