Mechanical & Electrical Manager (Housing) - Somerset

Temporary to permanent opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Manager to join a housing services team Your new company Joining your new company as a Mechanical & Electrical Manager, you will become part of a large housing property services team who are responsible for the compliance and maintenance of over 6000 affordable homes across the Somerset region. Your new role As a Mechanical & Electrical Manager you will take a lead in managing the service across a number of different sites ensuring standards of delivery are maintained. You will assist in ensuring compliance duty of care and statutory responsibility is maintained in accordance with current legislation. You will also provide technical expertise to all mechanical and electrical elements of property compliance, including fire safety equipment, water safety plant, gas safety, electrical safety, lifts and other matters. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in your new long term position, you will need to have a significant amount of experience across mechanical and electrical property compliance to residential housing stock. What you'll get in return In return you will be initially offered a long-term interim contract with duration of between 6-9 months, which is highly likely to extend. There is also a potential to progress into a permanent position after an initial interim period.
