Are you a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer able to commute to Newark?
I am working with a medium-sized multi-disciplinary practice looking to appoint a Chartered Engineer with Structural and Civil experience to work on a host of projects.
Candidates should have:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer or an Incorporated Engineer with membership of the ICE or IStructE.
Several years of Post-Qualification Experience in the UK construction industry.
Experience of working in a variety of sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, education, energy, leisure, retail and heritage projects)
Proficiency in the structural design of buildings using all common construction materials and have experience of designing in accordance with British Standards and Eurocodes.
Experience in AutoCAD, Revit and other construction packages.
IT and Communication skills
Commercial awareness
Experience managing small groups of engineers
Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will be working on a wide variety of interesting projects across the UK, including the design of building structures, earth retaining structures, flood defences, etc. as well as carrying out structural inspections and writing reports.
