Civil Engineering Contracts Manager A mid-sized Civil Engineering contractor are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their diverse and dynamic business based in Chesterfield. The Company The company offer a range of Civil Engineering and construction services, boasting a healthy order book for 2020 with a loyal client base. The organisation offers employees rapid progression opportunities and continued professional development. They have a lively office environment and a dynamic management team. The Role The incumbent will be responsible for managing up to ten projects with an average value of circa £5m and a staff of up to fifty. Typical duties include: * Concurrently managing the delivery of up five projects, safely, to budget and to programme * Management and professional development of staff * Contribution to pre-construction, to ensure a seamless handover to operational teams * Advocate and comply with company policy and procedure and contribute to the development of company culture The Candidate The candidate must be an experienced Contracts Manager, with a background in Civil Engineering preferably projects relating to groundworks, housing infrastructure and s.278 works.
