Estimator - Joinery Contractor - West London Estimator – Leading Joinery Contractor – West London SSA are recruiting an Estimator for an established Interior sub-contractor based in the South West The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Estimator with a Joinery or Carpentry sub-contractor and will work on tenders from £50k-£20m. Our client is a well-established and fit out contractor based in the London. They offer a complete a range of projects for the commercial and residential sector. Preparation of prime cost estimates incorporating both standard and bespoke products Implementation of the tender process Liaison with bid managers, contractors and consultants Advice on specifications and budgets Measurement of quantity and scope for each bid Preparation of prime cost estimates Completion of fully considered tenders at settlement stage Advice on finalisation matters of risk, qualification and margin Preparation of indicative programme to accompany bid In conjunction with marketing/business development function prepare bid submissions Follow up with client to reach a positive conclusion Successful post tender negotiations About the Candidate: Relevant experience in a similar with a multi-disciplined fit-out contractor Must be client facing and be a strong influencer who can manage difficult stakeholders Have tendered for projects upwards of £10m Numerate and accurate Supportive of the introduction of the latest in-house IT software systems to ensure high speed communication is maintained Enjoys working with people from different professional and trade backgrounds Need to be logical and well organised with ability to prioritise Numerate and accurate with fanatical attention to detail Presentation skills – written and verbal Positive response to pressure excellent commercial skills Technically competent in the estimating process Only UK residents will be considered Points of Appeal: Fantastic company Great benefits Competitive Salary
