Site Supervisor

Site Supervisor required for an immediate start! The Project The UK’s largest infrastructure project undoubtedly throws up some major ecological challenges which must be mitigated to ensure the successful delivery of HS2. This can range from river restorations, river re-alignments, floodplain reconnections, habitat creation and fish passes. My client is a rapidly expanding environmental construction company with a vast amount of experience in all aspects of environmental consulting and management works. This client has a large amount of work with HS2 to help them successfully manage the environmental impact of the project. The Role – Site Supervisor As Site Supervisor you will be joining a well-established team to help deliver environmental mitigation works on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervision of Site Technicians ensuring health & safety measures are being adhered to, monitoring of works, delivering toolbox talks, ordering plant & materials and assisting the site management team in the smooth running of site. The ideal candidate will come from a civil engineering background with extensive infrastructure experience. Having experience from an environmental project will be a distinct advantage, however, my client is keen to see applications from candidates that have worked within the water sector or on flood alleviation projects. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar industry role * Must be experienced in Site Supervisor / Foreperson * Must be a self-starter * Experience of leading site teams * Experience in delivering the highest SHEQ standards throughout delivery * Experience of civil engineering / groundwork essential * Experience of working within ecological mitigation, landscaping, arboriculture desirable Tickets and Qualifications * HNC/HND in related field * CSCS Card – Gold or Black * SMSTS / SSSTS * First Aid Package * £200 - £220 (ltd/PAYE umbrella) per day depending on experience * x 1.5 Saturdays * x 2 Sundays and Bank Holidays * Immediate start How to Apply Do not hesitate to get in touch, our client is actively recruiting for this role and needs someone in position ASAP.
