Civil Engineer

I am seeking a Civil Engineer based in Lancaster with experience in a building and construction consultancy setting. The civil engineer will be experienced in highways, road and drainage design. The Company: Our client is a specialist consultancy in Lancaster with a strong reputation in the building and construction industry for providing technical services and construction guidance on a variety of building structures. With a diverse range of engineering services to facilitate the construction of building structures, our client works with end clients, architects, principal contractors and sub-contractors. Whether working directly for the client, architect or principal contractor or engaged by the sub-contractor, they provide a diverse range of engineering services to facilitate the construction of building structures which continue to become increasingly complex. The Role: As an experienced Civil Engineer, you will be expected to maintain the well-developed existing client base as well as generate new clients and areas of work. You will ideally have: 3-4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering Working towards or achieved Chartership or Incorporation Experienced a range of different sized civil engineering infrastructure projects (£5m)You will ideally have experience in: Computer analysis including use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Flow and PDS Roads and drainage design, with a proven background within development infrastructure schemes working to DMRB standards Report writing Working in a busy and professional design office and operating with best practice to provide solutions for clients that are on budget and to programme.
