Job Description

The Company: Our client is a groundworks and civil engineering company that offers a range of engineering, foundations and external works services to the UK house-building sector. This client has excellent staff retention levels which has been gained by focusing on standards along with providing strong career progression. The Role: The role will include the usual duties associated with managing a selection of live projects, usually between 3 5 schemes throughout the East Midlands area, while reporting to a Director. Your roles will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities • Overseeing individual site teams, which will be headed up with project managers and site managers • Controlling all commercial aspects of each project from inception through to completion • Liaise with clients on each project to represent the company • Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget • Ensure clients, specifications are being met and they are happy from the pre-construction phase all the way through to delivery. Requirements & Experience: To be considered for this position, candidates will ideally have a degree / HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline and come from an civil engineering background. It is essential that individuals have experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager on groundworks, plots, 278 works, roads and sewer schemes on residential projects and this experience must have been gained whilst working for a sub-contractor.
