Principle Structural Engineer My client is a multidisciplinary civil & structural engineering consultancy, specialists in the provision of tailored and bespoke engineering consultancy & surveying services to a varied, blue-chip client base to include corporate, commercial, industrial & high specification residential environments respectively. A Principal Structural Engineer is required to undertake structural design on a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects within the commercial, residential, and industrial & education sectors on projects up to £50 million in value respectively. The Principle Structural Engineer will be responsible for the management of a varied workload with the ability to meet client requirements and project timeframes in addition to having line management accountability for a team of project engineers & technicians. The Principle Structural Engineer will possess the ability to represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants & contractors Candidate Requirements Hold a B.Eng/M.Eng qualification and possess several years post graduate experience Chartered or working towards chartership status through IStructE or ICE Possess design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry Proficient in relevant engineering design software The ability to write accurate reports and project documentation Full Driving License & Own Transport Salary & Benefits £50,000 - £60,000 Pension Scheme 25 days holiday Membership to professional institutions funded by the company
