Civils Engineering Supervisor

The Job Saddlers Resourcing are recruiting for a Civil Engineer/ Supervisor to be based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a driven motivated individual to join their team in order to progress within the company. The salary and pay - Full time contract role. Day rate is negotiable depending on experience. - Position is on a 6 months + contract with potential to be moved onto other long term projects once finished. The candidate will have the below skills and experience * Good communication skills, well-spoken and personable. * Must have minimum of 5 years experience as a civils supervisor * Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team on site of 5-10 operatives * Must have previous experince of setting out * Experience working on water treatment plants * Clean water experience * Must have electrical water experience * Hold EUSR, SSSTS/ SMSTS and any management qualifications * Happy to complete any task given and help other members of the team when necessary. * Ideally have experience on Thames Water projects previously and have a thames water passport Daily tasks will include * Managing the works on a day to day basis & issuing 2 weekly programs to the client generally in line with the main contract program, production of RAMS . * Setting out the works managing quality and technical delivery of the works. * Issuing weekly returns of Labour, Plant & Materials to head office along with all delivery tickets * Notifying the M&E Project Manager of all changes to the works information to enable Early Warnings to be raised. * Complete all statutory returns for Health, Safety & Quality monitoring of our works. * Up date construction with red lines to show changes as constructed. * Daily liaison with client on planned works & daily works briefings to operatives.
