Quantity Surveyor

Abatec are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent bases to join a national Civil Engineering contractor who are working on site at Hinkley Point C on a 10-year framework. Being based at Hinkley Point C as a Quantity Surveyor you will provide commercial support, working closely with the Infrastructure service team. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be involved with: * Contract reviews * Preparation of projects cash flow, forecasts, and cost management * Record and assist with management of change * Assist with control of project documentation * Carry out subcontractor procurement and management * Assist with providing commercial and financial reporting information Our client requires a Quantity Surveyor with: * HND/Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveyor or relevant subject * Commercial experience within the Civil Engineering industry (highways maintenance) * Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) * Experience in negotiating and communicating Benefits: * Salary Circa £40,000 to £50,000 per annum plus package * Company car or car allowance * 25 days holiday, plus bank holiday * Pension scheme * Training and progression If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact David Hughes on (phone number removed) We are always looking for candidates for similar positions, so please register your details with us to hear about similar opportunities that you may be interested in.
