Quantity Surveyor

Prestigious contractor requires a North East based Quantity Surveyor Company Well known, well reputed contractor which consistently carries out high profile, high value projects within the North East region. Role A Quantity Surveyor is required to join the team working on a high value, prestigious major development. This QS will take responsibility for managing major packages, working closely with a Senior QS and once the structure is complete, will be required to manage a specific building development valued at around £10m. Experience Required The suitable applicant for this position will be a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with relevant experience and competence to commercially manage sizeable packages or projects worth £5-6m, with experience or demonstrable potential to take the commercial lead of a larger scheme, forging the steps toward gaining a Senior QS role. Remuneration Negotiable depending on experience but ranging around £40,000 to £45,000 plus additional benefits such as car allowance.
