Finishing Manager

Job Role: Main duty is to oversee the final fitting out to 28 apartments. Key Responsibilities & Duties: * Achieving programme dates. * Overseeing the dry lining, tape & jointing, carpentry, kitchen, M&E and all other associated sub-contractors involved in the build of the units. * Co-ordination with M&E manager and sub-contractors to ensure works complete in time * Ordering of materials associated with the work including Waste management to ensure materials are not being abused by sub-contractor * Snagging works as it progresses. * Carrying out quality assurance checks on the works as it progresses ensuring correct spec, sufficiently installed, within tolerances, compliant with requirements, issuing corrective notices/ non-conformances for rectification and ensuring this is carried out. The successful Finishing Foreman will need to have the following skills, 1. experience & qualifications: • 2. Minimum of 2-3 years site experience • 3. Sound working knowledge of relevant site activities • 4. Proven experience of seeing a task through to completion • 5. Proven experience in supervising site activities or similar • 6. Appropriate CSCS card • 7. SMSTS certificate • 8. First Aid at Work certificate • 9. Valid driving licence • 10. Basic IT skills
