Job Description

Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to work within their BA Wind team, in Offshore Engineering, System & Maintenance Engineering, based in Hamburg. Role The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre and home of technical competences within BA Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle. Working within the System & Maintenance Engineering department of Engineering, the Data Engineer is responsible for the management and provision of data, as well as the standardisation of the data and documentation for the full (offshore) wind farm asset life cycle. The Integrity - and Data Engineering team is the driver for digitalization in Offshore Engineering. Provide set-up of data pipelines through various projects Manage data integrity monitoring Offer trainings and share knowledge with stakeholders. Requirements Academic background in engineering and/or IT with experience in applicable area. Technical and/or operational background within offshore wind or related industry preferred. Experience in document and/or information management, reference designation systems (e.g. RDS-PP T32), libraries or related preferred. Experience in SQL and noSQL data bases. Experience in MS Azure advantageous. Experience in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) advantageous. Experience with Kafka advantageous. Experience with data pipelines and handling big data. Project management skills. Flexible mindset to adapt to different system and process environments. Ability to develop detailed solutions, while always maintaining a higher-level perspective. Good stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills, enjoying an environment characterized by disciplinary and cultural diversity. Good communication, technical and commercial skills - Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written, German and/or Danish language skills nice to have. Enthusiastic about the potential of digitalisation and self-propelled to implement the opportunities in the wind industries
