Groundworker, Manchester 6 month contract £25,596 plus van Our client, a leading housing provider in the Greater Manchester area, require an experienced groundworker to carry out a first class repairs and maintenance service to their housing stock Duties could include any associated groundworks including repairs to defects in roads and paths, drainage repairs, fencing, repointing brickwork, rebuilding brick and stone work, etc... The successful applicant will have a proven track record of delivering a repairs service (ideally in a social housing environment) and be competent at using a hand held PDA device in order to carry out the role in a mobile capacity. This is a mobile role and a van will be provided - as such, a full clean UK driving licence is essential.
