Transport Planner

Our client, a leading multinational engineering firm, are looking for a Transport Planner to strengthen their existing team in Newcastle. You will be working on Infrastructure projects across the UK. Ideal candidates will have several years' experience in a similar role. You should be proficient in one of the below areas: Transport Planning studies Report writing and presentations Understanding of appraisal requirements Experience working with the transport modelling team Strong analytical abilities An undergraduate degree in one of the following (mathematics, physics, engineering, geography, economics or computer science); Understanding of the principles of transport planning or modelling; Experience in transport modelling and forecasting; Understanding of transport planning software packages; Knowledge of the transport economic appraisal process.
