Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks & Civil Engineering - Manchester - Up to £60k plus package (depending on experience) - call me for more information (phone number removed) - email to apply My client are a medium sized groundworks contractor based in Manchester. Typical projects for this contractor consist of groundwork projects, demolition, remediation, muck shift and general civil engineering projects. This is an split office and site based role. The office is in Manchester and the sites are in the North West area (Manchester / Lancashire and Liverpool) areas. Candidate essentials Subcontracting groundworks background (must have ran a groundworks projects from inception to final account). ESSENTIAL: Must have previously worked for a groundworks subcontractor - essential NEC Contract knowledge Relevant project experience Good Excel Knowledge Compiled and administered NEC subcontract contracts previously Duties Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks Undertaking costs analysis Providing advice on contractual claims Assisting in establishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies Performing risk and value management and cost control Advising on procurement strategy Preparing and analysing costing for tenders Allocating work to subcontractors Salary £35,000 -£60,000 (depending on experience) please note they are open to seeing project level candidates or senior level candidates.
