Mechanical Design Engineer

Permanent position for a mechanical design engineer working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy. Your new company This is a multi-discipline building services engineering practice, working across commercial, residential, industrial, education and retail sector projects. They have worked with clients such as ASDA, Debenhams, councils and property developers. They have a busy pipeline of work and are now looking to appoint a mechanical engineer at intermediate/ senior level. Your new role In this role you will be working as part of the M&E design team, delivering mechanical services design. In the first instance, majority of work will be within the residential sector and some in commercial such as office space. On daily basis you will be involved in design meetings, delivering concept and detailed design and will be able to provide your technical expertise on each project. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate your technical abilities in mechanical services through a degree in building services or equivalent, with post graduate experience working in the industry. Initially you will mainly work on residential sector projects therefore experience within this sector is essential. Ideally you will also be able to work with software such as Revit MEP, hevacomp and IES. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a competitive salary depending on your experience.
