Joinery Quantity Surveyor in Edgware Our client are a joinery and carpentry specialist based in Edgware. They have an annual turnover of £50m and work on fantastic projects throughout London. They are in the market for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their experienced team. They are working on joinery packages on a scale from £500k to £12m, providing Design and development, bespoke joinery, washrooms, doors, staircases and First fix services. It is important that the successful candidate can demonstrate a proven track record of Quantity Surveying and come from a Joinery background. The role will be in the main office based in Edgware, travel to and from London will be essential for project visits. The position is for you to make it your own and eventually build a team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will * Managing the day to day Quantity Surveying work for Multiple projects throughout London * Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies * Cost control, cash flow, financial reporting and advice to Management teams * Build relationships with internal team, Management and Clients. * Attend all project meetings * Assist with project final accounts * Reconcile tender to works * Be involved in pre-contract to completion on projects, managing costs throughout against budget * Identify Opportunities and risks * Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you must have/be: * A proven track record in Quantity Surveying * Joinery background is essential * Organised and good time management * Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting * Self-sufficient * Proven track record of delivering construction projects * Excellent communication and oral skills * Comfortable liaising with Clients and Senior Management * Stable employment history * High-performing individual * Versatile * Excellent time keeping skills * Disciplined * Attention to detail If you meet all the Quantity Surveying requirements above, then please get in touch
