The Company
My client is a leading specialist sub-contractor who mainly focus drylining, partitioning and suspended ceilings. Having built a strong clientele, they have grown rapidly over the last 5 years to a £30m turnover business. After securing another a major commercial fit out project in East London, they are looking to recruit an Interiors biased Site Manager.
The Role
* Working with the Contracts Manager to produce, monitor and maintain the detailed construction programmes
* Monitor progress against these programmes for formal reporting at regular client progress meetings.
* Where required, assist the Contracts Manager with sub- contractor selection and procurement.
* All Health & Safety matters on site e.g. site risk assessment and hazard management, completing weekly H&S audits, accident and incident recording, reporting and investigation.
* Site based quality control and snagging including quality control inspections and feedback to subcontractors during the course of the works.
Site Manager Requirements
* Experience as a Site Manager in the drylining market
* Fit-out experience essential, including dry lining, partitioning and suspended ceilings.
* Ability to work to programmes and deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to change.
* Have great attention to detail
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS card holder
