Job Description
We have a new opportunity for a Site Manager to join an established building contractor to work on projects in the Dublin area. Our client has an annual turnover in the region of €20m and their projects include new-build, refurbishments, and fit-out projects in the commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors.
Role:
• Day to day management of construction projects.
• Ensuring that projects run to programme within budget.
• Coordination and supervision of sub-contractors.
• Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.
• Ordering materials.
• Updating site paperwork.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with planning, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
• Liaising with Clients, Quantity Surveyors, H&S Officer, and office support staff.
Requirements:
• Proven record of successfully managing projects through to their successful completion.
• Trade or technical background.
• Experienced supervising projects from groundworks to completion.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Sound knowledge of current construction techniques,
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
