Landscape Architect

Landscape Architect needed ASAP - Public Sector - Rolling contract - £23 - £28 per hour - Central London Your new company An inner London borough council with an award-winning in-house Architectural Design team are seeking a Landscape Architect to join their studio. This progressive council has a number of exciting well-designed residential, regeneration and educational projects in pipeline. The set-up is made up of Architects, Landscape Architects and Urban Designers with a team principal and has the forward-thinking approach and feel of an independent studio; whilst having the aim of creating and delivering buildings that are transforming the area and lives of the borough's residents. Your new role The role will commence on an immediate contract basis, however it is certainly long-term with the potential aim of the person becoming a permanent employee within the team. They are seeking someone with good knowledge of UK construction regulations, experience of producing working drawing packages (residential projects being essential), and experience in using NBS. The office uses AutoCAD, however the team is increasingly incorporating BIM, and although not an essential requirement, an interest in pushing technologies and design methods would be regarded favourably.
