Job Description
My client is heavily involved with Mechanical, Electrical and process design, install and facilitiy management of blue chip organisations, which include pharmacuetical, manufacturing facilities.
I’m looking for a highly flexible project manager that has a track record of taking overall charge of the planning and execution of Complex Site Projects.
The person needs to be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach and excellent presentation skills.
Must Have:
Have varied project management experience within the Pharmaceutical and Research & Development Environment.
Experience of working within the CDM Construction Regulations 2015.
A Construction Managers Health & Safety Qualification
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reporting.
Experience of managing projects from compiling the initial proposal, to the handover of completed works.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and completed on time and in budget.
Principal Accountability:
• Health & Safety – overseeing of the H&S policy and procedures whilst working as Principal Contractor
• Site Meetings - chairing and organising meetings
• Construction Management – act as Main Contractor and Clients Representative.
• Cost Control Management – take responsibility for accurate cost control and reporting.
• Project programming - accurately tracking progress and identifying any actions and changes to scope.
• Site Project Management - dealing with sub-contractors and internal resources
• Quality Assurance - constantly monitoring standards and reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Risk Management – introduce controls to minimise project risks
