Groundworker

2 x Groundworkers are required for a leading housing association with properties across Greater Manchester. This is a 6 month contract working directly for them. You will have previous social housing maintenance experience. Responsibilities: -To excavate and lay or lift and rebed precast concrete, stone or block paving, precast concrete, stone or block edgings, concrete beds, steps, ramps and foundations -To excavate and lay or repair general coated macadam surface -To install repair or renew timber vertical board, chestnut pale, garden rail or panel fencing -To identify and carry out any repair to defects in paths, roads or walkways -To repair fractures and patches in brickwork, blockwork and stone -To rake out and repoint brickwork, blockwork and stone -To take down and rebuild small areas of brickwork, blockwork and stone You will have a minimum of level 2 NVQ in bricklaying or similar and have a full driving licence.
