Construction Management Architect and Design Planner

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Internal Planner within the Telecommunications sector for a project starting in London (predominantly London) with potential for a UK placement. Start date: Immediate start Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Typical Deliverables: -To plan SDH rings, point to point Lanlinks between customer sites and Nodes; -Prepare detailed splicing schedules and route designs for external teams to build the circuits; -Ensuring full compliance with local authority and statutory provisions for street works (NRSWA); -Maintenance of accurate records of progress and completions on remedy and company tracking databases; -Complete As-built drawings and fibre cable route drawings using AutoCAD & micro station design systems; -Work extremely well within a team and individually to meet targets and expectations; -Most importantly ensure all the planning tasks undertaken are detailed, professional and workable within the timescales. Desired Skills and Experience Essential Experience: - 3 years experience in a network fibre-planning department; - Knowledge of SDH, Ethernet planning; - Experience in Fibre cable planning and Diversion planning; - Understanding of NRSWA - High standards of presentation in all attire, written and verbal levels for meetings in the company management and to external parties such as the customer and Local Authorities; - Working knowledge of Works Manager Systems (i.e. Remedy) and MS Office, particularly Excel and Word; - Experience in AutoCAD &/or Micro station systems for cable drawings and As-built records; - Record in service delivery roles and diversion planning.
