Job Description
We have a wonderful job opportunity to join a well-respected multi-national business, with strong order book, and projects that run the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland.
They have an opening for a Planner to join their Planning team, working alongside two Senior planners and a Trainee Planner. Support and training will be given, and this job will suit a person looking to continue to improve their planning skills under mentorship.
It is expected that you’ll have 2-5 years planning experience and have worked on multiple projects within infrastructure and construction.
Experience sought
Essential
* Strong Primavera P6 user. At least 2 years’ experience.
* Experience working on multiple projects/programmes at once.
* You be a details person. You’ll be able to, and have experience of, looking into the P6 programme at multiple levels of depth.
* Security cleared.
* Experience of planning construction or infrastructure projects from £30k to £10s of millions.
Desirable
* Able to work independently and manage a project plan from start to finish either on your own or with support.
* Hold an academic qualification, such as BSc, BEng or HNC/D etc. in a Construction or Civil Engineering degree.
* Hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
This really is a wonderful job opportunity for a relatively inexperienced Planner to join a multinational business that will train and support your development whilst you work on a variety of large/ interesting projects. You will also be supported to attend Primavera and other courses that will aid you in your job and development.
Remuneration
Flexible, but up to circa £30-40k salary as guideline), very good benefits package
