Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Office Fit-Out) Manchester £55,000 p/a plus Company Car/Allowance, Generous Holiday Entitlement, Healthcare and Pension My Client is a market leader in the Commercial Office fit-out sector and with continued success are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial Division in Manchester. Working on projects valued between £500k - £20m candidates will be responsible for; liaising with Clients, Internal Departments, Project Teams and Supply Chain, managing financial issues, preparing and agreeing valuations and finalising Subcontract accounts. Additional duties include: Completing and presenting project estimates. Procurement of Subcontractors. Handling contract administration including advising on commercial contractual position under the Subcontracts. Tendering and full costing of contracts. Measurement of main/sub contract works /take-offs. Identification, valuation and agreement of variations. Preparation of Final Accounts with full supporting pack. Provide accurate commercial forecasts. Successful candidates will possess: Minimum of 5 years Fit-Out/Interiors experience. Degree qualified or equivalent in Surveying/Building Services. Thorough working knowledge of Fit-Out/Interiors sector. IT proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word). Adept with reading drawings/plans and developing cost estimates. Strong Commercial awareness and commitment to achieving deadlines. Self-motivation/self development. Flexible approach to work. Exceptional communication/organisational skills.
