Construction Director SubContractor

The Company A specialist contractor who have been established for over 35 years. They supply tier one and tier two contractors and residential developers with demolition services. Contracts vary from £500k to £4m and are primarily in London and the South East. The Role With the owner of the business looking to semi-retire in the near future, he would like to employ a construction director who can potentially take over the day to day running of the business. With several sites running simultaneously the construction director will take overall responsibility of the builds together with overseeing pre-construction and any legacy issues. They will also be the point of contact for numerous clients. The Individual From a subcontracting background, the construction director will be able to demonstrate longevity in previous roles as a project manager and ideally a contracts manager/construction director. Together with being competent running sites the construction director should also be comfortable managing the financials and be client facing. The Opportunity As previously mentioned, whilst this is an exciting role in itself, the potential is there for the construction director to lead the business in the future
