Architectural Designer - Residential

Residential Architectural Designer*** My Client is looking for an Architecture Designer who will have a passion for outstanding design together with excellent communication skills to join our team and lead/work on Residential projects from conception through to completion. A strong flair for design is key within the role as is your technical ability as you will be working across multiple projects . Taking this into account you will be a self-starter, your ability to be able to motivate and communicate with people at all levels will be obvious, and getting enjoyment from driving projects to successful completion in order to deliver outstanding results will make this the right role for you. Key Requirements; * To be proficient in AutoCAD 2D and have previously undertaken Planning Drawings self-sufficiently. * To have an understanding of building design and building regulations. Ideally, if they are able to complete simple building regulation drawings such as rear extensions/garage conversions. * To have a good understanding of planning regulations, design principles and permitted development. * To be able to write supporting planning statements and other word documents where required for planning. * To be able to complete planning applications etc. * Word/Excel/Outlook proficient etc as standard * Liaising with consultants etc. and obtaining any necessary information for projects. * Meet with clients and discuss project details and present ideas (where required however I would pick up most of this from my role) * To be able to competently work as part of a team and individually on projects. * Any form of 3D design such as AutoCAD or SketchUp (Not Essential) * Travel/Own Car is Essential
